The Oilers and Red Wings have a lot to think about in this one.
Edmonton gets Dylan Larkin, bringing in a proven two-way center and a player who can give the Oilers some serious depth down the middle.
Detroit gets Ike Howard, Spencer Stastney and a 2027 2nd-round pick. Howard is the big piece going back, with plenty of upside as a young forward who could become a major part of Detroit’s future.
Larkin is the established star, while Detroit is betting on youth and future assets.
